H2O - Thicker than Water Review
Tracklist
On its second album, H2O tightens up its sound, dumping the ska experiments in favor of their love of melodic speed-punk and classic hardcore à la Minor Threat. There is a positive, straight-edge sensibility to most of the lyrics, but singer Toby Morse never comes off as preachy or didactic. The riffs are strong as well, making Thicker Than Water a fine effort. - Steve Huey.
- Universal Language
- Everready
- Talk Too Much
- I See It in Us
- Sacred Heart
- Innocent Kids
- Scarred

- Friend
- A Plus
- Phone Song
- Responsible

- Thicker than Water
- No Fucking Tears

H2O - Selftitled (1996)
Tracklist
01. 5 Year Plan
02. Scene Reports
03. Spirit Of '84
04. I Know Why
05. Gen-Eric
06. Surrounded
07. Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
08. Family Tree
09. Hi-Lo
10. My Curse
H2O is a band that had beginnings like any other band. No one could have guessed that a few guys from New York, who started as a one-song side project with former-Sick Of It All roadie Toby Morse and a few friends, would turn into a world-touring powerhouse. They took humble roots and worked their way to add their chapter to the long history of New York Hardcore and they would define the term “melodic hardcore” that would become so common years later. This is a re-release of their 1st album, assumed as their best release so far. A classic New York Hardcore album, a must have for every hardcore fan.
